Joyce Agency is casting the international tour of Ivan Jacobs’ American musical The Phantom of the Opera. Joseph Patton, dir. Rehearsals begin Oct. 20 in NYC; tours Europe Nov. 11-Dec. 8 (sits down in major cities). Seeking-Raoul: mid-20s, young, handsome, charming, singing leading man, legit tenor with high B flat; Carlotta: 40ish, “full-figured,” singing comedic character actress, a true diva, legit soprano to high D; Didot: 60-70s, tall, elegant, singing character actor, legit baritone voice; Police Commissioner: 40s-60s, strong, distinctive, comedic character actor who sings well; Character Man: 30s-50s, plays various roles, moves and sings very well; Principal Male Ballet Dancer Who Sings; Principal Female Ballet Dancer Who Sings. Auditions will be held Sept. 9, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Nola Studios, 250 W. 54th St. (btwn. Broadway & Eighth Ave.), NYC.
