‘SNOW WHITE GOES WEST’
| ‘SNOW WHITE GOES WEST’ Conejo Players Theatre, Inc. is casting Snow White Goes West, a rambunctious, tongue-in-cheek, musical retelling of the Grimm Brothers’ tale. This is not a children’s show. Dayne Jervis, prod.; Ken Patton, dir. Rehearsals start Sept. 3. Performances run Nov. 22-Dec. 13. Seeking-All Roles Open. Note: Detailed character breakdown is available at www.conejoplayers.org. It will be cast with adult performers. However, teenagers are welcome, too. No conflicts accepted for performance dates. Auditions will be held Aug. 31, 7 p.m. and Sept. 1-2, 7:30 p.m. at the theatre, 351 S. Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks. Males will be expected to sing either baritone or tenor. Prepare a one-minute song. Bring sheet music in your key (standard musical theatre songs, no pop songs). Pre-recorded, instrumental only CD tracks are okay. A pianist will be provided. Bring one extra copy of sheet music for your audition song. Prepare to read from the script and do a short dance routine. Wear clothes you can move in and proper shoes.
