Mixed Blessings
| Real Films is looking for five main actor’s (and other characters with small parts) to perform for a table reading of a Christian sitcom pilot. You’ll be a part of something first of it’s kind; the script is very unique! This is a casting call for the table reading only. This is not a casting call for the filming of the pilot. You may or may not be considered for an actor’s role in the pilot.
We’re asking for headshots, and based on those, we’ll be doing call backs for auditions. The audition time/date and location is TBD. But it will be sometime at the end of August. You will be required to sign a non-disclosure form if chosen. The show name is yet to be determined. This submission is for actors who want to help out and practice acting. Once we go to production, yes, if you did a good job, then of course we’ll keep that in mind for casting the pilot. We do have light connections to producers. Here’s the description of the TV show: Note: Although the script is divisive in nature toward Catholics and Protestants, I do not want anyone who is against Catholics or Protestants involved in this project. One God, one church. Also, I’ve had people express concern about the dark humor of the script. I am not making universal comments on Christians or Christianity at all. I’m born again myself. Please send your headshot to: ThisIsMyHeadShot@Lycos.com. Thanks! CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS Adam: A white male. Age 25-30. Tall. Thin. Sharp tongue. Sarcastic. Doesn’t like Catholics.
