Logo is casting season two of Stolichnaya’s Be Real, a series of shorts celebrating gay life through the eyes of those who live it, stand by it, and stand up for it, featuring a diverse cross-section of Americans to tell their stories of struggle, solution and celebration. Shoot start is TBD. Commitment/Anniversary-Participants: “Are you about to tie the knot? Or celebrate a big anniversary? About to hit a major milestone in your life? Did you encounter obstacles along the way? Or is your big day going to be one of those comical experiences everyone would want to watch? Is your Valentine’s Day going to mark an important milestone or a significant event? Are you planning on popping the big question? We want to hear about your big event and toast to your success!” Adoption/Family Story-Participants: “You’ve finally decided to start a family! Are you in the process of adopting a child? Bringing your adopted child home for the first time? About to give birth to a bouncing baby girl or boy? Or trying to get pregnant? Looking for a sperm donor? Going to try the ‘turkey baster’ approach? Or are you about to enter into an unusual or interesting parenting arrangement? If so we’d love to hear your story.” Rising to the Challenge-Participants: “Are you training hard for a big athletic event? Are you new to sports but rising to the challenge to meet a new athletic goal? Running a marathon or trying an extreme sport for the first time? Or are you an out athlete or sportsperson pushing for GLBTQ awareness in the sports field? Are you a coach who has put together a special team for the marathon? We want to know your story. What is motivating you to participate or rise to this challenge?” Reconciliation/Forgiveness-Participants: “Are you an LGBT person who left your family because you felt unaccepted because of your sexuality, or who was rejected by your family? Are you now in the process of reconciling? Did something significant happen to start this journey? Are you a GLBT person whose best friend, ex-wife or husband rejected you or vice-versa because you came out to them, but now you are coming back together to reconcile your relationship?” Reclaiming Faith-Participants: “Has it been a struggle to reconcile your faith and your sexuality? Did you leave your religious institution because you are gay and felt rejected by that religious community and its leaders? Are you thinking of reclaiming your faith or have you started the process of reclaiming your religious faith? Or are you a gay religious leader who works daily to bring members of the gay community back into the religious fold? Are you or do you know of a religious leader who is or has just come out to their congregants? We want to tell your important story of faith and understanding.” Moving To A Small Town Or New Town: Gay Couples, Big City- Participants: “Are you used to being in New York’s Chelsea surrounded by GLBT people and now you are moving to a small town for the first time? Or are you from a small town and are moving to the city?” Moving In: First Time-Participants: “Are you the kind of person who has always had your own place, never had more than one towel in the bathroom and never stocked the fridge with more than you need for three days? Now you are moving in with your partner for the first time and all that you are used to is about to change! We want to be there for the negotiations and the big move.” Email your name, location, phone number, email address, pix (if possible), and your story to bereal@lintonmedia.com. Possible pay. |
