Audition Alerts

Seeking-Warrior Girls: 18+ by Oct. 1, with “the total package,” technically trained dancers with a strong emphasis on hip-hop, positive, talented, energetic, with great personalities. Note: Tattoos and piercings are acceptable.

Auditions will be held by appt. only July 19-20, 8 a.m. (registration) at ClubSport of San Ramon, 350 Bollinger Canyon Ln., San Ramon. Semi-final audition will consist of interviews and photo shoot. Bring pix & dance resumes. Dance resume should consist of previous and present dance experience, any workshops, classes, teams, conventions, or skills pertaining to cheerleading or dance, and any professional team that you have been a member of or affiliated with, including the director’s name. If you do not have a professional headshot, a personal photo will suffice. Wear a half top, form-fitting shorts, and shoes in which you will feel comfortable dancing, such as dance sneakers, jazz shoes, or athletic-type shoes. All shoes should have non-marking soles. Dance workshop classes will be offered by the Warriors prior to tryouts. The cost is $20 per class. Those auditioning are highly encouraged to enroll in at least one preparation class, in which you will learn choreography that has been performed by the Warrior Girls during the 2007-08 season.
