DraftFCB HealthCare (prod.) is casting an industrial video, as well as a possible photo shoot for accompanying print material, for a product called Reyataz, a medication used to treat HIV. Reyataz is a protease inhibitor, which is a class of treatment that can shift the prognosis of HIV from a terminal disease to one people can live with. This project will be seen primarily by doctors, and not a broader audience. Alexa Benitez, art prod.-casting dir. Seeking-Tonya: female, 31, African-American, thin, may have served time in jail, going through tough times living with HIV; Dennis: male, 44, African-American, smoker or has smoker’s voice, heavyset, Midwestern accent a plus, a truck driver living with HIV. Note: Seeking real people/everyday actors; not interested in model types or “beautiful people.” Only apply if you look the role. Seeking actors from NYC and surrounding areas only. Performers will represent patients who have had success with Reyataz. Actors/models will be featured in 30- to 45-second vignettes, as well as accompanying print pieces; a disclaimer will clearly state that this is a fictional account. Auditions will be held by appt.
